Statement of Work


This Statement of Work is governed by the laws of the State of        Florida, US        in Agreement and dated June 15, 2024 (the “Agreement”) by and between                   (“Company”) and          8th Layer Marketing          (“Agency”).  All capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meaning set forth in the Agreement.

Services to Be Performed by the Agency

Adding analytics tracking support to dealership sites involves implementing a consistent tracking solution that follows the form and function of the templated layout. This means ensuring that all relevant events on dealership pages are being tracked and recorded accurately in the analytics platform.

The goal of this work is to provide the dealership with valuable insights into the performance of their website and marketing efforts, allowing them to make data-driven decisions to optimize their online presence and drive more leads and sales.

Analytics work will be documented in a document called the Solution Design Document, which expands scope to all supported containers, properties, pixels, and domains. This is a living document that is updated as Analytics support changes or is updated over time.

Total users

Number of unique visitors to the dealership website

New users vs returning users

Ratio of new visitors to returning visitors

Total sessions

Number of website sessions initiated by all users

Total engaged sessions

Number of website sessions in which a user was actively engaged

Total item views

Number of times vehicle detail pages were viewed

Total chat inquiries

Number of chat inquiries made by users on the website

Total call inquiries

Number of call inquiries made by users on the website

Top 10 items added to compare

Most frequently compared vehicles

Top 10 items saved

Most frequently saved vehicles

Top 10 search terms

Most frequently searched vehicle attributes or features

Total form submissions

Number of entries to any given form on the website

Total form starts

Number of forms where intent to submit was started

Top Channels

Most frequently seen channels by attribution source, medium, and campaign


By tracking these KPIs, the dealership can gain insights into user behavior, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize their online presence and drive more leads and sales.

GA4 ecommerce and monetization reports

Support GA4 ecommerce and monetization reports for vehicle-related events in the ecommerce standard funnel, excluding payment steps and offline events such as purchase and checkout

Item tracking

Track vehicle views, selections, detail page views, click to enquires, scheduling confirmations, and value reporting for each

Internal promotions tracking

Track internal promotions such as banners and deals

Search functionality tracking

Track search functionality including search field location, terms, and filter options

Navigational events tracking

Track primary, secondary, sidebar, and footer navigational events

Compare functionality tracking

Track compare functionality by session

Save functionality tracking

Track save functionality by session

CTAs on list view tracking

Track CTAs on list view such as availability, chat, and more details

CTAs on detail view tracking

Track CTAs on the detail view such as availability, chat, ask, drive, see specials link

Giveaway/Modal Display tracking

Track the number of times a giveaway, sweepstakes, or modal was displayed

Modal Form tracking

Track form starts and submits on any given modal
